It always amazes me how awesome ceramic subway tile looks, even though I’ve seen about a million variations. But, few things are sadder than white ceramic tile with dingy grout stains. Before you go and spend all your drug store rewards points on a grout cleaner that will make you vacate your apartment for a week, pull the white vinegar and a stiff-bristled toothbrush out and put them to work. Dip the toothbrush in vinegar and scrub the grout to watch stains disappear. Like magic! 
Note: This trick only works on ceramic tile surfaces and it’s always a good idea to test out a small area before you go on a cleaning spree.
